FAQ

Q: How long does it take to find the caregiver after we decide we would
like to interview people?

A: Usually we ask for 2-3 days before we schedule the interview, but if
you call and tell us I need the caregiver ASAP we could have the
interview the same day.

Q: How many Caregivers do you work with and where are they from?

A: We work with over 500 Caregivers in Chicagoland area. Most of our
Caregivers are Eastern Europeans (Polish, Ukrainians, Russians,
Lithuanians, Slovak, Czech, Romanians, Bulgarians, , but we also work
with Mongolians, Africans, Filipinas, Hispanic and African Americans.

Q: Who do we pay for the caregiving services, the Agency or the Caregiver?

A: You pay directly to the Caregiver as the Caregiver provides the services to you.Our services are paid with the placement fee which is one time and lifetime. Our service can be also called “finders fee”. We are Private Employment Agency who finds the best possible employee for the Client. The employee is working as the Independent Contractor and that is why you pay to the Caregiver for his/her services.

Q: We need the Caregiver who speaks Italian? Do you provide Caregivers
who speak foreign languages?

A: Yes, we do. Please let us know about this need before we schedule the
interview.

Q: What is the minimum requirement of hours per week if we need come and
go Caregiver?

A: We do not have a minimum. We are always doing our best to find the caregiver who provide the service which our customers are in need of.

Q: After we choose the Caregiver and he/she starts to work, do you still
keep in touch with us?

A: Yes, we do. We check periodically how everything works out for you. At
the beginning we call or come over more often. When everything goes the
way you wish we do this less often.

Q: If we need a Caregiver to work 7 days a week live in and the Caregiver
needs a day or two off would you provide replacement?

A: Yes, we ask to let us know few days in advance and we are able to
provide another Caregiver for the days off the regular Caregiver
(weekends, one weekend day, and vacations)

Q: Do we have to pay for the Caregivers days off?

A: It is completely up to you. This is not a requirement. Some families
cannot afford to pay for 7 days service, and that is why they choose to
have someone just 5 days a week. Other families decide that if it will be
only 4 days off during the month they will pay for the days off. It is
totally your decision.

Q: What if we do not like the Caregiver and we would like to try
different one.

A: Just call us, let us know what is the issue and we will provide
different Caregiver ASAP.

Q: Do we have to pay taxes, social security, health insurance etc… for
the Caregiver who works for us?

A: No, the Caregiver works as an Independent Contractor and is
responsible to pay all of this by himself.

Q: Do you provide one caregiver or few caregivers with different shifts?

A: Generally we provide one Caregiver as based on our experience some of
the elderly people are getting confused with to many changes around them.
However if you wish we could arrange the service with 2-3 shifts. In some
very difficult situations when the Client does not sleep day and night we
provide two caregivers, one is working the day shift (12 hours) and one
is coming for a night shift (12 hours).

Q: Does Medicare or my private insurance pay for your service?

A: No, this is private pay only but there are some insurance companies
which in some cases might help with the payment. You would have to check
this with your insurance company.

Q: What happens if after few months or years the Caregiver resigns while
I still need one? Would you charge me the placement fee again?

A: No, the placement fee is one time and LIFETIME.

Q: If I need live in Caregiver, do I have to provide food and room for
Caregiver?

A: Yes, you should provide basic food and if possible also room. Please
let us know if you cannot provide separate room for the Caregiver.
